Where are you located?

We are so thrilled to finally call Nashville TN home! I will occasionally be traveling back to California for sessions or weddings and will open up booking for orange county and Ventura county when I do! I will still be taking weddings in California as well as long as travel permits! Always down for a reason to fly back!

How long have you been shooting?

As a hobby, since I was 10 or 11. Professionally since I was 16 or 17. I shot my first paid wedding at 17 and the rest is history! When I say I’ve been doing photography for more than half my life, I mean it! I’m so thankful my parents were crazy enough to hand a decent camera to a very clumsy 11 year old and just let me run with it! I think the best thing you can do for your kids is to encourage them to explore different passions! You never know when you’re fostering a lifelong love.

What gear do you use?

I get this question a lot and honestly it varies depending on the project, but for the most part my canon 5 d mark iii and my 35 1.4 lens! They’re definitely my go to! Realistically, the gear isn’t as important as what you do with it!

Is there anything you won’t shoot?

Absolutely! I think having discretion on which projects I take on is really important. In general I’m always open to hearing ideas but if I feel like the project you’re proposing would be better suited to another photographer, I’ll definitely refer it out! As of right now, I’m not currently offering boudoir shoots, just because I don’t love shooting it and I know a lot of photographers who do! I think having a photographer who’s 100% passionate about whatever project they’re working on is so important, and its why I’m choosing to focus on the things I am passionate about, like weddings, maternity, newborn and family photos!

What happens if you aren’t able to make the date we’ve agreed upon?

For typical sessions, we would re-schedule or I would issue a refund for your deposit! For weddings, I have several photographers with similar styles who could step in and associate shoot for me in case of an emergency, and then I would still edit your gallery. This is extremely rare though and has never happened.
